Chrome font issue

I've somehow messed up Google Chrome so that it overrides with the same font for all websites, rather than the website's own font as I would prefer.

I can see the settings where I choose the font but don't know how to disable this entirely. Can anyone help please?

Did you install an extension like Font Changer to set this?

No it's not an extension.

There used to be a setting to override website font choices though can't seem to find that now, a google search seems none the wiser, which version of chrome is it?

Try this: Settings - Appearance - Customise fonts

No i don't think that overrides the fonts set by a website.
