I am considering a trip on Christmas Eve on WMT using a Super Off Peak ticket with restriction LG
The restrictions normally apply on Saturday but according to BRFARES.com in the unpublished data they do not apply on 24 Dec. Thus on TOC websites I am able to select trains in the early morning, which would normally not be valid for this ticket.
However I am not offered an e-ticket for this journey. If it must be a paper ticket, I would rather buy at the station in case I change plans. I can't find anything that says the time restriction has been lifted. Is there a more definitive way I can prove it is valid if I am challenged, other than taking screenshots of a booking engine?
