Looking to do a 3day solo train/“bashing” trip. Will be done on the cheap — Advances, youth hostels etc.

Can’t decide on a destination so leaving it up to the floor.

I’m considering going to Cardiff and taking a TFW loco-hauled service to an undecided location — would be grateful for any suggestions.

They go up the Marches line, so Crewe for traffic or onto the Cambrian for travel.
