A similar sum from access for all has been promised for Machynlleth to construct a lift type footbridge between the 2 platforms. As no trains actually cross their anymore the simple expedient of running everything into the platform next to the drive would be much easier and with ERTMS it is possible.

With overcrowding the big issue not being addressed its hard to see how the "all" will be attracted onto the train surely the "all" need to have space on board as well?
