Assume these are the 165 workings to/from Chinnor?

Got the shock my life as I drove over the bridge at Chinnor and saw the Chiltern train sitting in the station!
Apparently there was a C&PR working to Princes P4 in the morning too with at least Prairie 5526 (on loan from the SDR).
In the afternoon there were two public return journeys from Chinnor formed Class 20, a rake of MK 1 and the Prairie. Quite good loadings, mostly locals as far as I could tell. I traveled on both and had a great ride.
A lot of twitchers at Princes and plenty of non-stop and stopping Chiltern activity; only a few of the Chiltern trains "saluted" the C&PR train which I found a bit disappointing; probably rules prevent this these days.
I do regret driving, I had to take a Garratt to GRS in Princes, so will be back by train hopefully soon. Apparently the bubble car will be running at the weekend which as far as I am concerned will be a real treat
Anyway a momentous day for the Railway and everybody seemed exceptionally pleased with the official opening.
PS: Water butts and buckets placed at strategic locations along the line. Very efficient.
