So i am a late started with train travelling and visiting new & interesting places in UK, while taking experiencing our range of train classes that cover the various track networks.
having completed the midland mainline and west midlands mainline - I have moved deeper into the Midlands to start on the Chiltern network.
After reaching a station that Chiltern run through, to start the challenge.....getting to Nuneaton from Leicester, and ride "the elephant & bear" down to Leamington Spa.
after stepping off the west midlands class 172 at Leamington Spa. I was greeted by my first Chiltern unit, The class 68..... ot was just like a freight loco. hooked up to the carriages.
it looked kind of old skool, compared the trains running on the other networks, fully linked up loco engine units with the walk through chamber. with access to driver cab.
My first Chiltern experience

But these the driver is cut off from the staff crew onboard, i presume there are intercoms.
This must be there version of the high Speed Express Service

And the standard commuter runner

I hope i got these Chiltern class trains correct...
