I think this is a very familiar story. Most people never hear back from Chiltern, regardless of how far you get in the process. I’ve given up applying to them, I would worry what they are like as an employer when they are this poor in the recruitment process.I went down to the test centre in Watford on the date and time specified in the email that I received. This was after confirming with the sender the correct date and time and receiving an email back to confirm.
I prepared long and hard for the tests only to be told at the OPC offices that it had been canceled and no tests were taking place that day.
I was absolutely gutted as I was not notified of the cancelation.
After emailing them I've now been told that it has been delayed until October no SJ tests to complete or anything.
I feel like this has been a complete waste of time I've been messed around by Chilton and don't feel confident I will hear from them again.

Absolutely, multiple times to multiple people, both individuals and generic emails. I have never had a single reply from Chiltern from any request for an up date to multiple applications. They remain in my login as in process. I can pm you individual names.Have you actually been corresponding with anyone at Chiltern during this part of the recruitment process? If so, do you know who?

When you log into your account, it'll tell you if your application is in process, or at an end
Arriva has been taken over by a new company. DB Cargo group no longer owns any of Arriva’s organisationsAfter getting invited for the OPC assessment for 29/02/2024 this got cancelled due to the next course not being till October which made sense. Now I’ve just attempted to log into my account to check the status of my application last week it say ‘in process’ today it isn’t even letting me log in apparently my email is invalid after trying to reset my password it’s saying this email hasn’t been used before which is quite confusing. Has this happened to anyone?
Not sure tbh, I’m unable to check mine eitherwasn’t aware of that but thanks, if possible do you know we’re I can check my application?

Hi All. Things should be moving forward shortly for Chiltern recruitment. Received an email today from one of the recruiters offering to be booked in for driver manager interview.
However I politely declined as I have passed DMI with another TOC and starting trainee driver position early next year (hopefully).
No official start date, they had one for this October but it had been cancelled. Scheduling for early next year hopefully. But yeah it’s talent pool for now.I assume the other TOC is a better fit for you than Chiltern? Have you actually got a start date with them, or are you just being put in a talent pool?
Definitely 2nd this. Good to have options open and not put all your eggs in one basket. You should have took the interview, if the other toc change their requirements and dont require anyone you'll have no options at all.
You should email them back asap and ask for the DMI. Hopefully if you pass it, you can then decline the course whenever an offer is made to you. (depending on where you are with ARL/LO)Hi All. Nah I would prefer the wait till next year anyways. I’m in a good position at work now anyways, so I’m happy to wait for ARL/LO till next year. You should have took the interview, if the other toc change their requirements and dont require anyone you'll have no options at all.
