There is an internal school starting in February 2014 as far as I am aware, I would presume that the external people would either be with or in front of that.

The last day to apply is today and when you go on the site it is an application that you download and print off. The notes confirm that your application needs to be with them today (15/08/13) so unless they accept faxed or e-mailed applications it is too late. A quick call to there HR dept would clarify this.

Having just checked the Chiltern site again it does actually say you can e-mail your application across.

Their form was poorly formatted - sections going over the page - hasn't the creator hear of page breaks ?

No confirmation email to say they've got it though.

Will call the recruitment team tomorrow and let them know that the 'copy email address' on the hyperlink is different to the hyperlink text.

I presume the email address recruitment@chilterrailways.co.uk is NOT correct and that the right one is recruitment@chilter[B]n[/B]railways.co.uk

I sent mine to the previous first, but have now sent it to the other one. I'm still waiting for the automatic reply though.

Hopefully the deadline is midnight no close of play

Perhaps that's the first stage of assessment, to see who copies the email address and who clicks the hyperlink and spots the error

Getting emails telling me that the system is still trying to deliver my message to Chiltern. I was able to speak to someone at Chiltern and they were very helpful. I think the volume of email traffic didn't help.

The reason is in above posts - the email address was incorrect!

I have not heard anything yet, though I know they have my application as I contacted them when I submitted it due to problems with submission as per previous posts. Hopefully should hear early next week as an earlier post said they advised that should expect a reply around a month after submission.
