Chiltern Railways to Leamington Spa

With apologies if this information is easy to find (ie I've somehow overlooked it!), but I'm keen to know what stock to expect on which service.

I am looking to travel from Marylebone to Leamington Spa on a weekday for business and am keen to use the refurbished Mk3 carriages that seem to attract a lot of comment. However the Chiltern Mainline website pictures under "Comfortable Carriages" seems to picture both Mk3 carriages as well as other stock. Any ideas what is due to be used on which service?

I can travel outwards from around 07.00 to 08.30, and will return anytime from 13.00 onwards. Your guidance is appreciated!

The 0837 Marylebone-Birmingham Moor St and 1555 Birmingham Moor St-Marylebone Monday-Friday are Silver Trains (i.e. the refurbished Mk3s), with all the rest Class 168 Clubmans, which are quite comfortable trains as well. IIRC one southbound service in the afternoon peak is a 165 however, as are some Stratford services, avoid that at all costs if you can!

(This thread lists all the Silver Trains on Chiltern, I didn't compile it for nothing! Note however times now may be slightly different from those listed. The Chiltern timetable also shows the Silver Trains with an 'S' atop the column and Clubman trains with a 'C' atop the column.)

This thread list the chiltern mk3 diagrams. There is only one northbound in morning, 08:37. Coming south in the afternoon there is only the 15:55.

London to Stratford services are also usually 165s.

He didn't, if you edit within 5 minutes of posting it doesn't show as altered - I was editing the bit about column titles in the Chiltern timetables and thought to add the bit about Stratford too, I hadn't actually seen Eagle's post until now - my apologies to both you and Eagle for any confusion.
