Chiltern Railways Interview

Hey guys,

I hope all is well.

I have an interview with CR for a CSA post and was wondering would anyone, particularly working for CR know whether CR ask an interviewee what they know about the company.

The reason I ask is that I keep hearing this 'they would want you to know about the company in the interview' but I never get asked lol.

I did some research about the company and have to say I am very impressed, would be an honour to work for CR.

I guess it wouldn't harm doing a bit of research, but I need to know should I prioritise on my CB examples or the company.

Would be interesting if anyone else from this forum community are also attending an interview with CR.

Not exactly what your asking but in the induction they go very heavily into the chiltern railways story so it's obviously something that's very important to them. You shouldn't be asked anything in depth so if you cover the basics like which routes they operate and and who owes the company you should be fine, just remember to include their flagship silver set services (including business zone), they'll be more interested in your competence based answers and whether they think you'll be a good fit for the company

It all depends on what the questions are. I would for sure gen up on the company and learn as much as I could about them.
