Chiltern Railways bubble car allocations

Today 22/01, Chiltern Railways bubble car 121020 has been moved from Aylesbury to Tyseley BRM. Unit being used for the next few weeks for route learning.

The Bubble car is out again route learning all of next week, 5Z24 0810 Departure from Tyseley to Leamington Spa to Crewe via Coventry and Bescot. Returning as 5Z05 1340 Crewe to Tyseley via the same route.

Spotted 121020 at Tysley on Saturday - not seen it in service in Aylesbury since the timetable change, does anyone know the deal with that? 121034 is putting in occasional appearances on the few remaining branch services that don't continue to Marylebone but there have been several days of 165 operation throughout recently. Does anyone know what the situation is with the bubbles, their future use, or the potential to any further improvements to Ayles-High Wycombe through services?

No plans to retire them yet, but since the timetable change the evening working has been much reduced. It only does one trip to Princes Risborough in the pm now, and returns to Aylesbury ecs.

The Bubble car 121020 is out again this week running between Soho and Birmingham Internatonal via New St 0910 5Z24 Tyseley to Tyseley, route learning, with seven passes a day through the station at new st

There is still a chance that route learning may be wasted from what I hear on the grapevine. The plan as I mentioned previously is to divert via Cov on Summer weekends and into New St to cover a block at Dorridge. There is a likelihood that block may not happen now.

55020 was back on the Princes Risborough shuttle yesterday morning.
