When was your stage 2? Have you had it?

They told me they’ll book it but first I have to do VSE test but I didn’t get the invitation link I was last do VSE test in the end of December 2023 and didn’t heard anything and on 28th of January I got email that they will book me for two days test held in Watford but before that I have to do VSE I don’t know what is going on

Yeah I applied for Aylesbury depot and that application is in process

If you've applied for two Depots it's extremely unlikely that both applications will be progressed and the application for the Depot furthest from your home address may well be terminated so you can concentrate on the other one. I assume that's what may have happened here.

Also, different people deal with different Depot's recruitment process which is another reason why you might reach the next stage with one application and not with another and some confusion may have arisen as a result.

I’ve applied trainee driver Aylesbury, I’ve done opc already with another toc and failed on one part. Chiltern emailed me yesterday, I seemed to have skipped VSE and stage 1, and I’m to do stage 2 and Mmi end of February at opc.
Only thing is the email had no attachments so I don’t know what stage 2 is? I’ve emailed back awaiting a reply.
Is the Mmi just writing the answers to the 6 questions and interview at a later date? Or is the actual Mmi interview on the day as well, as I read something in a previous post?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

MMI will be done on the day at OPC. If you pass OPC you would then go through to interview at the TOC itself.

How strange, I sat the VSE in the NY and then haven’t heard anything further. Application still shows in progress on the DB website but I’ve had no emails and I emailed the chap who sent the MSform in and heard nothing back

The MMI is part of the OPC test so it's not a job interview as such, that would be your DMI interview which you would do at the TOC at a later date if you'd passed all the OPC tests including MMI.

Have you been told that you passed the VSE then? I believe the March training course has now been filled and closed so anyone still in the process would be on the following course if successful.

The nature of the various OPC tests has been discussed at great length on the various Jobs and Careers threads on this forum. I would recommend that you take some time to scroll through and read what people who have been through the testing process have written. If you don't have the patience and wherewithal to do that, I'd respectfully suggest you might not have what it takes to be a train driver.

Okay no I didn’t hear anything that I passed or not they are not telling anything

This is most likely because the March course has been filled and there is now less urgency to populate the next trainee driver course which is currently scheduled to start in October. My advice to you would be to be patient. If you believe that you are due to attend OPC tomorrow, I assume you have contacted OPC directly to see if this is indeed the case, if you have heard nothing from Chiltern?

Last month I attended assessment centre for another TOC and completed Group Bourdon test, Tea-OCC test, M7-SJT, DFFT and passed to Enhanced.
And during the computerised test, does this also include the visual search exercices which was done online repeated again at Watford?

Chiltern use National / Standard testing plus VSE (which you might class as 'enhanced' as the VSE is additional). As has been mentioned many times on these forums, there is no precise definition of 'enhanced' testing which may include an enhanced pass mark or additional tests, as considered appropriate for each specific TOC's requirements. If you have passed certain specific tests already, you should not be expected to retake those tests again at Watford.

Which station did you apply for and when did you have to submit the VSE?

I applied for Aylesbury back in November, submitted the VSE at Christmas (had to be submitted by New Year's Day) and have heard nothing since. Application still saying in progress
