A tender has been issued for the replacement of Chiltern Railways stick. Surprisingly this is for either multiple units or coaches that can be diesel hauled. They are aiming for a 2024 driver training which is ambitious. Does anyone have thoughts on what MUs or coach stock is likely to be ordered and what locos would pull new coaches.
