I don't mind it. Coaches look good, but I think the 68 would look much better with yellow ends.

A thing of beauty! I prefer a 68 with dark fronts instead of yellow - they look meaner this way

Is that livery actually PRM compliant? My understanding is that passenger doors need to be a contrasting colour to the surrounding bodyside, and the lighter blue stripe on the bodyside at the leading end of those coaches seems to pretty much merge with the door at the bottom, and appears to be the same colour.

It's highly unlikely that Chiltern (or any TOC) would introduce a livery without having undertaken the necessary compliance testing, so I'm sure it meets the necessary standard even if it doesn't appear to.
There's also the perspective issue to take into account. So what looks close on Railcam is likely to be significantly better spaced close up.

It looks as though Chiltern Railways have entered their goth phase, not that I'm complaining!

I quite like that livery and 68 020 looks like it means business in a nicely Continental way. 
Not my video. Personally (controversial I know) but I feel the front needs a small yellow panel as that blue is a little too dark. And there’s a bit too much of the swirl, and contrasting colours, on the coaches. It’s a bit of a busy livery.

Firstly, nobody said 'This isnt (sic) PRM compliant' - it was posed as a question.
Secondly, from that video it's still unclear. Certainly looks better than the photo earlier in the thread, but it's still a wide swoosh in the same colour as the doors, which ends up at the bottom very close to the doors. The purpose of that PRM stipulation is to make the doors easily visible to people with poor vision, and this really isn't going to help with that.

What's caught my eye more than anything else is that the company logo is so strangely low down on the DBSO carriage compared to all of the others.

The livery seems a bit dark for my liking but it's still nice. I do see the PRM argument as the doors and another area are the same colour but I'm sure it's all been OKed

I must admit, it is smart. Gutted to have missed it at Oxford today… was one train too early.
Whilst the doors may be PRM compliant, making them white to match that of the newly refurbed 168s would have brought together a much more uniform look.
(Unless of course they do the 168 doors the same colour instead)

Not bad. I think I would reverse the colours at one end, though, as it looks a bit odd when the light blue is next to the light blue door, would be better for PRM then too. I'd probably also have the loco in a single colour, probably the mid blue, so it doesn't look odd when the other way round.
