The Chiltern Railways website says that there will be an amended Sunday service on Monday December 28th, an amended Saturday service on the 29th and 30th, just an 'amended service' on the 31st, and an amended Sunday service on January 1st. Does anyone know if it is likely that the loco-hauled diagrams will be operating as they would on a normal Sunday (28th and 1st), Saturday (29th and 30th) or weekday (31st)? Or might they be different (presumably reduced) as a result of the service amendments or the smaller number of commuters?
Also, is it likely that the diagrams shown in the 'Frequently Requested Diagrams' thread, which are indicated as being valid until 12th December, will be more or less the same in the new timetable? (at least in those cases where the train times are more or less the same).
(It's the 08.41 Marylebone-Birmingham that I'm interested in in particular, unless any morning departures or evening return trains not currently shown as loco-hauled might become so, which I presume is unlikely).
