Are Chiltern still using class 68 Diagrams on the Marylebone-Birmingham route.Ive seen Diagrams that state a 68 works the 13.10 Marylebone- Birmingham, however on Realtime trains this service is for a 158 sprinter.

Chiltern are definitely still using Class 68s on several Marylebone-Birmingham services. The problem with TRY is that it states what the service is timed for, not necessarily what will actually operate the service. The Marylebone-B'ham services are stated as "Pathed as Class 158 Express Sprinter" and "timed for 100 mph max". Chiltern do not operate any Class 158s and all Class 158s are limited to 90 mph max anyway.

They are just the timing rules - they are not operated by Class 158s.

The list of trains hauled by Class 68 is here:

Also in the Chiltern timetable pdf the trains hauled by Class 68s are denoted with MS at the top.

ISTR hearing that the ARS (automatic route setting; the thing that helps signallers when everything's running smoothly by automatically setting routes) in Marylebone IECC is configured to only route things that are timed as Class 158s, hence the reason why everything on the Chiltern lines is thus timed.

Bit off topic, but that's not correct.
