Hello,

Can anyone tell me which services are now operated by the Class 172s on the Chiltern Mainline as the diagrams seem to have changed from what I can find online.

Noted the 1818 London Marylebone - Stratford was operated by a 172 Unit yesterday, is that a booked working for a Single Unit?

There was an article in Modern Railways recently saying that the Chiltern class 172's were being used to operate the Stratford services from December 2012. Not sure of the actual diagrams but that would agree with the train you observed.

The 1818 Marylebone-Stratford is usually 2x172 (4 cars), although it's been cut to 1x172 at least once this week. I think this is to cover for other unit failures.
