On the 1807 ex Marylebone.

All being booted off at Wembley Stadium.

The 68s aren’t that old.

What is happening?

This service?

Looks like it's failed / got a bit of a problem. Has it been moved out of the way, or is it blocking the line?

Seems to have been removed inside 30min - it's a good place to fail, with the turnback siding and the depot!
Looking at RTT I imagine one or more following trains stopped to rescue the passengers.

Or swap the loco and send it onward without turfing everyone off!

Except that the loco is at the country end and the depot (assuming there was a spare loco) is at the London end. Not impossible, but a slight shunting challenge.

And would involve blocking the main line whilst the spare loco is prepped (assuming there's even one on the depot) and potentially even longer if there isn't a Driver who signs 68s at the depot.

Being facetious; but while this thread is the "first" or "top" one in this sub-forum -- seeing its title in abbreviated form, on the site's "summary page" of sub-forums: I keep mis-reading it as "Children -- being booted off at..." -- that'll teach the little wretches some manners  !
