Chiltern Advance purchase (AP) tickets

Anyone know why Chiltern are so slow in releasing APs? I want to travel from BMO to MYB on 11/11 but there are only walk-up tks available. National Rail suggest tickets are available up to the 27th Nov but this must be a typo, I can see them for 27 Oct but no later.

There are Advances for your chosen journey on 10th and 12th November. I assume that either there are no Advances for 11th November, or they have sold out, in connection with people travelling to London for the Armistice Day observances.

I think it is more likely that the TOC and Network Rail have not yet agreed the timetable for that day and, due to engineering works being required, Advance tickets cannot yet be offered for sale.

Given that it's a Wednesday, that does seem somewhat unlikely.

From where I'm looking, advance tickets ARE available starting at £30 on the 0810 and gradually reducing as the day progresses

Thanks all - I had thought about it being 11/11 but what I failed to mention is I was looking to travel in the evening.

Anyway I have found tks on my chosen service for £12 - so I've made my purchase! Other days show the evening services being 12 - I'm sure in the past I got this particular service (15.55) (for 6 or 9 but I won't complain since the walk-up is 28 !
