Childs London Travel card

[222007]

Hi all

i've looked on TFL's website and i'm just utterly confused on what a child's travel card cost's? I have an oyster card and i'm taking my lad to London for the day on Saturday and trying to cost everything up. Any ideas? He is 10 and doesn't have an oyster card.

Thanks

Children under eleven travel free last time I checked on TfL services...

From: http://visitorshop.tfl.gov.uk/help/travelling-with-children/

Children aged under 11 can travel free on buses and trams at any time. They can also travel free on Tube, DLR and London Overground services at any time as long as they are accompanied by an adult using a valid Visitor Oyster card or Travelcard ticket. Children aged under 5 travel free on the Emirates Air Line when accompanied by a fare paying adult. Children aged 5 to 15 pay child rate fares on the Emirates Air Line.

A maximum of four children under 11 can travel free with an adult who has a valid Visitor Oyster card or ticket on Tube, DLR and London Overground services.

Don't forget that on National Rail he will require a ticket

I think the zones 1-6 paper Travelcard for children is £6

Yes that's correct. It went up from £3.20.
