Chester to Cosford off-peak day return

Hello again,

Could anyone please tell me, is an off-peak day return from Chester to Cosford (£14.60) valid via Wolverhampton? Or is it via Shrewsbury only?

TBH, I'm planning on travelling via Shrewsbury, but I'm just wondering if the Wolverhampton route is also available on this ticket which would allow additional tavelling options.

Thank you for any possible info.

by the looks of journey planners on southern yes.. changing @ crewe and wolverhampton. someone else will no doubt confirm valid routes.

Chester is a Routeing Point (RP)

Cosford has two RPs, Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury.

The fare from Chester to Cosford is identical to Chester to Wolverhampton, therefore Wolverhampton is an appropriate Routing Point for this journey.

The permitted routes identifier shows that you may take routes from Chester to Wolverhampton on the following maps:

CC
CC+CL
