Hello, I'm new to this forum but I was wondering is there any staff parking at Chester? And if not where do staff park?

yeah there is! it's behind the drop off parking at the front of the station.

The new car park behind the Queen Hotel has (rather too many) spaces marked out for staff.

It's not free though. And apparently at certain times of day you can struggle to find space.

There are not enough as the general public park in the staff spaces so the staff can't park that results in YOUR train being delayed.

there is no (free) staff parking. there are available spaces in the one on city road marked staff only and those cost around £30 a month if i remember rightly and come out of your wages.

there are some residential areas around a 5-10 minute walk which i use when i cant get the train, which is about 4-6 times per month.

edit: i've also never seen the car park full, there's always space.

There was a notice that went up regarding parking and the public using the staff spaces so there must be an issue there at busy times.
