Chester Station Upgrade

The area immediately outside Chester station has had a fair bit of money spent on it in recent years but remains one of the most "pedestrian hostile" junctions imaginable with cars, buses and taxis flying around in all directions (particuluarly for people going home after a jar or two). Its almost as bad as Amsterdam Centraal. Traffic-light controlled pedestrian crossings are desperately needed.

I'm happy to report that these facilities are indeed now closed for refurbishment.
