This seems to be a common question recently. Are there a lot of surveys happening right now, or is it a perennial question? Or something else?

A lot of people searching for answers come across the forum. However some things are difficult to search for, as it's unclear what search terms to use. The classic one is a datum plate.

At any moment there are hundreds of visitors (not including members), many of whom will have just made a web search.

So it may seem that some questions are asked more often than others simply because those terms are not easily found without creating a new thread to ask.

That's my best guess anyway.
