Has anyone managed to get a cheque from VTWC for delay repay rather than Rail Vouchers?
Virgin's website states that, if you have not bought the ticket direct from VT, who are now refunding direct to the payment card, you apply using the traditional online form and that a cheque is an option if required. the problem is there is nowhere on the form to indicate you want a cheque
I applied before Christmas after disruption caused by the weather and, immediately sent an separate e mail to VT customer services saying I wanted a cheque. Two weeks later having had no response from VT, vouchers duly arrived.
Two days ago I made another claim for a journey undertaken last week which was delayed and again I sent an e mail to customer relations asking for a cheque. I wait to see if hey bother responding this time.
