Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help.

I'm looking to go from Cheltenham to London Paddington.

My dates are flexible sometime after Friday but before 5th Feb.

To return same day 1 Adult 16-25 RailCard.

Providing you can travel via Stroud (ie, avoiding the alternative route via Newport) and don't depart before 0930 and don't return during the period of 1501-1900, then you can use a Super Off Peak Return priced at £32.20.

However you may find Advance tickets to suit your needs.

I don't know if splitting into a combination of tickets is worth it or not, a quick check at the usual place (Didcot Parkway) reveals Cheltenham-Didcot SSR is £17.50, and a Didcot to London CDR is £14.50 totalling £32.00. The restrictions are slightly different, and you are allowed to travel during the barred period but only on slow trains, also the 1915 is not allowed.
