I see that RTT only allows searching past records for the last week. Is there any other easy-to-use open access site where you can find what time trains actually ran a month or so ago? Thanks.

It's fine as long as the UID (the 6 character code beginning with a letter) hasn't changed. You can use RTT to look for services that ran beyond a week before, as long as the schedule is the same (e.g not booked to take a different route, having different timings)
Realtime Trains | 1A81 1130 Edinburgh to Aberdeen | 19/08/2022
Real-time train running information for 1A81 1130 departure from Edinburgh to Aberdeen on 19/08/2022. From Realtime Trains, an independent source of train running info for Great Britain.www.realtimetrains.co.uk
Take this for example, you can see that in the link there’s a ‘2022-08-19’.
This obviously is the reverse order of the date the service ran.
So if you change 2022-08-19 to 2022-05-31, you can get the diagram for the same service as far back as May. Hope that makes sense
