Next week I'm looking to travel from Birmingham New Street to London Euston 1st Class. Arriving Euston between 1030-1100. Returning same day around 1800. Need some flexibility on times so Advance Purchase is out of the reckoning. Also has to be with Virgin.
I have a DSB Railcard and have seen there is a Virgin Trains Only 1st Class Off Peak Return at £91.10, but the morning and afternoon restrictions aren't compatible with my travel plans. So, would the following splits work:
Just want to check those splits, utilising NRCoC Condition 19(c), are okay. Also is there any problem using Railcard discounted tickets alongside a Season for a 19(c) split?
Finally, is there anything that can beat this total for a 1st Class Day Return between Brum and London with Virgin?
