What is the cheapest way of getting from Cheam to Worthing today please?


There's RRB's from Sutton to East Croydon
And there's no trains from West Sutton.

Ideally I'd like to avoid the RRB's and Clapham Junction if possible. As I know CLJ increases the fare cost.

I have a 26 to 30 railcard.

It's a one way journey
However I'm happy to get a day return as sometimes that's cheaper? (And chuck the outward portion of the ticket)

The cheapest option would probably be an Off-Peak Day Single from Ewell East to Worthing, routed "not via Clapham Junction" costing £14.10. It's valid to start 'late' at Cheam and change at Balham on your way to East Croydon.

If you're returning within a month, the equivalent Off-Peak Return would be £22.75.
