Hi guys,

Can anyone advise what is the cheapest advance ticket/combo from Cheltenham Spa - Inverness?

NRES has quoted £47ish, but my mate reckons about £30? :roll:

anyone shed any light?

£47.50 is the cheapest I can find quoted, but this is priced by Cross Country, so if you could in theory find one through their website then their "2011 fares at 2010 prices" through might well bring it to 30-something pounds.

That must be averaging at about £0.035p per mile. Does long-distance rail travel get much cheaper than that?
