Time to get creative!

Travelling on a weekend (most probably a Saturday) from Liverpool S Prkwy, can anybody suggest a nice day out?

Trying to limit tickets to £15. Ideally, to include a nice pub or other eatery at some point.

Don't mind about traction or any of that, I'm not into that. Only other request, no longer than 90 minutes (ish) sat on one train.
