Not sure if it is just me, but it seems services to Liverpool via Chat Moss seem to be going a bit slower and stopping in between stations more.

Anyone else feel this is the case?

There's been a lot of disruption today because of signalling problems around Oxford Road.
I was on a late-running Airport-Lime St semi-fast, which got stuck behind a Victoria stopper - but I was impressed when the stopper was looped at Huyton to let us past.
As we got to Lime St they were just cancelling the next Airport service.

Explains why the 16:16 LIV-MIA was cancelled
