That's one advantage of looking at OS maps rather than some others, which don't always show private roads or freight railways (or terrain features). On the other hand, I think it was the google map of Hope that showed a small network of roads, looking like a housing estate which are in fact... a campsite!
And yes, it's not a bad location. You can almost see the Peak Forest stabling point in the far distance, and if you climb the hill "behind" that photo, you get a very industrial view into the quarry and of the line to Buxton the other side of the tunnel. Oddly though, the railtour crept up on the two of us standing there, when we thought we'd see it coming in the distance.
