Charter Stock At Kidderminster

G'day everyone,

Having enjoyed a wonderful day at the SVR Steam Gala can anyone explain the presence of what looked like charter stock at Kidderminster along side the carriage sheds? There were four Mk3 sleepers and several Mk2 air con stock. Any ideas anyone?

I'm not sure of the full details, but the Severn Valley won't be maintaining the Northern Belle stock - that's done in house. The SVR should just be acting as a home to the BNB, and just proving servicing - the usual watering etc.

It's an interesting move from Crewe LNWR though!

Due to its new location, perhaps it should be renamed The Midland Pullman?
