After seeing the new luxury sleeper train advertised in the uk that people was going to pay for it I wonder how much and how long would it take for a round trip around the uk (around the coast) would be and if it was for a charity would people pay for it. Maybe class 47 top and tail with Mk3 sleepers(s), Mk2 lounge(s) and or a Mk2 restaurant/dining carriage and Mk2 1st class compartment(s) for general relaxation as for showers maybe at certain points a stop could be planned with lounges like at Penzance. I don't know logistics for different lines etc but just a rabbit hole I went down :)

By "round the coast" do you mean a broadly circular route or do you mean visiting every point where the railway reaches the coast?

The former would be 2-3 days (?), the latter would be lengthy (and some points couldn't be reached e.g. Looe).

Circular within reason, I just wondered honestly as it sounds relaxing to watch the world go by and see the difference around the country north then east the west etc coast and countryside what ever applies due to route practically
