Did you actually get to walk around the platforms and stuff?

Didn't think anyone was allowed due to health and safety?

as far as I know, you can't just arrange a visit, otherwise everyone would be at it. Obviously all the platforms etc are there still and intact, but doubt you could just turn up.

You only need a bit of paper if you are representing an organisation (eg. making a film) - as long as a DMT says you can, your official :)

You should walk down inside the train, but nobody does. Most drivers open up the saloon doors to cool down the inside too. You also hear "Charing Cross. Change for Bakerloo and Northern lines and mainline rail services... this train terminates at Green Park."
