Chapest Fare 7th August Thurston - Wolverton

Could someone help me please?

I am going to the Wolverton works do on the 14th, but thought I would try 7th August on the system now to see what ticket options are avaible.

It seems that the Thurston - Wolverton ticket Off Peak Rtn is the best value. I have "played" with splits and could not come up with anything cheaper than £39.70.

Perhaps someone more knowledgable than me can come up with a better deal!!

I'm looking but this is really hard, the Thurston to London SVR is 33.90, so you're getting the tube + London-Wolverton part for 5.80, that's a real deal to be honest.

i have a suggestion its involves stagecoach bus x5 from cambridge to milton keynes rail station..

depending on how early you want to leave, with wolverton opening at 10am, and closing at 5pm..

journey time..

0747 Thurston to Cambridge 0839 £10.30 Off Peak Day Return

Walk to Cambridge Park Side Bay 16.

0910 Cambridge x5 bus towards Oxford arr Milton Keynes Rail Station. arr 1105 £10.90 Adult Day Return

1149 Milton Keynes to Wolverton arr 1153 £2.80 Off Peak Day Return..

Total Cost £24.00

If you were to get the 0737 via Cambridge and London would get in at 1053, but your spending £39.70, with doing it this way your saving you £15.70 for an extra hour...

Say you Spend Five Hours at Wolverton...

1817 Wolverton to Milton Keynes arr 1820..

Bus Stop 35 1845 Milton Keynes Rail Station to Cambridge arr 2048

2143 Cambridge to Thurston arr 2231.

If you get the Train at 1817 via London get's in at Same Time...
