Went through Bank/Monument this morning and noticed there was signs around the station saying "Filming taking place today for filming of a new Channel 5 documentary about the London Underground". Any idea what the documentary is?

Still, it will either go the way of "Oh isn't it fantastic and everyone works really hard..."

Or will make LUL look like a sack of (insert something here) again.

Hopefully Channel 5 don't do their usual of turning everything into an exposé of how dangerous LUL is, and how mean and nasty they are for things like...

• Cancelling the Tunnel Cleaning Train, nasty dust kills people...
• Not buying trains NOW NOW NOW (wah wah)
• Rusty holes on the oldest trains in the country

Every documentary series I've watched has been pretty positive for whatever service/industry they follow. I guess they'd be told to bugger off otherwise.

If they wanted to expose issues, they'd do it undercover surely - as they'd never get official permission to film. And it wouldn't make a series, or have anywhere near as many people watching.

Since they'd probably be told to smeg off if they didn't paint them in a certain light I reckon it'll be glowing except it will show any union action as intransigent and petty.

As a matter of principle I'm all for union strike action if they have issues. However the RMT do spew a load of complete bollocks most of the time.
