Changing seats on a VTEC service

Since making my booking on the 09:35 from King's Cross which was for an airline seat as I prefer the privacy, I have acquired an iPad Air 2. Would there be any problem if I grabbed an unreserved table? Not easy enjoying an iPad in an airline seat.
(O/T can I access this forum on an iPad?)

You will be able to take an unreserved seat. However an iPad is ideal for an airline seat as it will fit the drop down table fine and it has Safari web browser installed, on which the internet works as well as other browsers! So you can use this forum.....sent from my iPad

I doubt it. In the unlikely event that there is, you'll just be asked to move back, but it's near unheard of.

Yes, you might also want to look at the free Tapatalk app which is a bit more suited to iPad use, though not everyone is a fan of it. The best thing about it is that it is, unlike a browser, tolerant of an unreliable connection.

If you booked through VTEC own website I think you can change your seat reservation

On turning up to find that the seat I had reserved was in a bay of 4,all of which were reserved whilst the carriage was generally lightly reserved I asked the attendant (It was 1st class) if I could move and they said of course. They just removed the reserved ticket so someone else could use the seat.

If you call them up they are normally quite happy to cancel your existing seat res and switch it for you.
