Changing Advance Fare dates?

This may sound like a daft question, but I need to change the dates on an advance ticket (essentially for 2 people, both ways - so 4 tickets) and was wondering, is there anyway of changing the ticket with out paying an admin charge of £10 for each ticket (basically it cost £40 to change and advanced ticket, which seems to me is a lot! if it was an Admin fee of £10 for all of them i'd understand though! )

Not gonna help. If he knows his stuff you will be correctly charged. A very "unknowledgable" one is what you need.

However if you find a nice clerk, you might only be charged £10 for the whole transaction.

£10 per ticket is the correct policy. What you need is a very UNknowledgeable clerk.

Yes, it was for emphasis, but I guess it was too subtle so only one person got it.

I tried Tunbridge Wells one, and £10 a ticket , oh well i guess cheaper to buy a new one because i doubt i'm find one that would do that for just £10, as it seems £40 will be the only one. Disappointed I guess but that's life!

Then again I also dislike any advanced things (not just tickets) seem to have a non refund on them, which is great until something happens and you have to change plans!

Unless your tickets cost less than £10 each it will still be cheaper to amend them - you will at least get some of the value back.

Nope it isn't as the total is about £35 , so as i said it is cheaper to buy a new one unfortunately.
