CFPS Fundraising Ebay Railwayana Auction
The CFPS is pleased to announce that it will shortly be listing a number of rare and highly collectable items on eBay as part of its ongoing fundraising activities. We are promoting the auction in advance because we wish to maximise awareness and interest in the items for sale so that we achieve the best possible price for these items. All money raised will go towards funding the repairs needed on our two locos, 40 135 and 40 145.

The auctions will commence from 20:00 on Wednesday 27th July and will run for 7 days, finishing from 20:00 on 3rd August. Items listed for sale will comprise of:

• An original ex-loco Class 47 alloy BR Depot Plaque – Leicester “Tiger”
• An original English Electric Works Plate in ex-loco condition from 40 160
• A flame cut number/data panel in un-restored condition from 40 160
• Two replica English Electric Works Plates for 40 013 “Andania”
• An original Class 303 "Blue Train" EMU destination blind (Glasgow Commuter line destinations)
• Yorkshire Engine Company 0-6-0 diesel brass nameplate “Richard Borrett” ex ICI Runcorn/Llangollen
• Yorkshire Engine Company Works Plate from the above loco (build number 2669; built 1958)

Thanks must go to the individuals who donated these items for sale.

The items will be listed on the CFPS ebay pages, here:

Please circulate this information to anyone who you think may be interested in any of these items; the CFPS still has a huge amount of money to raise and we need to achieve the best possible prices for these items. Please dig deep!
