Centro Network Daytripper

Visiting Birmingham on tuesday along with a freind. Planning on using the trams as well as local rail services and a question about this ticket has come up.

Is the Network Daytripper valid on Virgin or other train companies between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street/International?

I know it is valid on London Midland its just It doesnt say anything about the other TOC's.

Also will be abe able to purchase this ticket on the tram?

Yes its valid on all TOCs that operate within Network West Midlands boundaries.

You can purchase it on the tram, but also you can buy it out of area,i.e on your way from which i believe would be Bridgend?

I can't remember how its issued out of the West Midlands but i know it can be done.

Hi yes my main station is Bridgend although Pyle is my local station where I will be traveling from.

Cathays station I believe has a booking office so I can see if they can issue me it there while I wait to meet up with my freind before we drive to Birmingham.

I was onboard a LM service earlier today where a guy sat behind me purchased a daytripper onboard. He was given a ticket from the Avantix and told to swap it for a daytripper ticket at the Bham Moor St ticket office. Perhaps this is similar to what happens if you buy out of area.

Daytrippers can be issued properly from an Avantix so I don't understand why he was given a Daytripper exchange.

If we're thinking about the same ticket, you can only get it issued on the special (blue!) stock in the boundary area, so you might want to wait until then to buy it, if you're that bothered
