Central Line Engineering Works 1/2nd March Query

Hi everyone,

On the TfL Planned Engineering works PDF document (the latest edition), it shows a closure on the Central line west section, as below.

Central: Saturday 1 March, Sunday 2 March: North Acton to West Ruislip

However, on the TfL Live Status update page for next weekend, it shows all planned works, but omits this closure, showing the Central line as a planned 'Good Service'. Thus, just looking at that you would expect the line not to be closed.

Which one can be trusted more? Does anyone know if these works have been cancelled/ recently been put in place?

There is a short notice closure of the west end of the Central line on 1st/2nd March in connection with Network Rail bridge works.

Full details are awaited; the PDF is correct.

As far as aware it has been cancelled as it was due to the footbridge near Northolt being dismantled however on closer inspection it is being reinforced instead.

Cancel what I originally said, bridge has moved so as mentioned will be closed West Ruislip to North Acton. Got update yesterday.
