I'm on an intercity train from Milan to Naples. It's been routed in part down the high speed line with 125mph running. I assume these trains have CDL, however every time we stop at a signal or simply not at a station, there's an announcement in English saying don't open the doors. So are these IC trains fitted with CDL or just locked doors whilst train is in motion?

Central Door Locking in Italy, advice please.

Unless they've retrofitted anything, they'll have standard RIC/UIC door blocking. This kicks in above 5km/h and locks the inside handles on both sides, and they unlock again below that. Otherwise if the train is stationary the doors will be unlocked - so don't flick the handle to try - I did it once before I knew about this, stood there idly flicking the handle in boredom and nearly fell out! 
They will also almost certainly have a door closing feature, but that's separate and only holds the doors closed (inside and outside, by way of air pressure which leaks away) for a few seconds.
