Celebs you've seen on the train

Once sat next to Squarepusher on a HST from Paddington to Taunton. He spent the whole journey in headphones, faffing about with Fruityloops on his laptop. Not sure if anything on that session found it's way onto an album though.

Seen Eorl Crabtree on a Manchester-Huddersfield 170; and my parents once had a crowded Glasgow Central-Manchester Airport journey in the company of Will Self.

Mark Nicholas (or an incredible lookalike!) this afternoon at Nottingham, post-Trent Bridge duties.

I saw John Travolta at the Leighton Buzzard Light Railway the other week. His elbow can be seen poking out of the cab in this shot (they gave him a cab ride during the run round).

I saw Nick Hewer alight from an EMT HST at Leicester last week.

Did he have TV cameras too?!

No, it was just Hewer and another lady I didn't recognise.
