Hi

In the 90's I was staying in West London, using Hayes and Harlington railway station. Am I right in remembering there was a BR CCT visible from the Up platform?

And if I am, what was it there for?

Thanks.

Covered Carriage Truck.

A small four wheeled van type thingy; there used to be quite a lot of them. Here's one on Flickr ( not my photo ):

Thanks, I couldn’t quite work out the context.

There was a parcels / mail depot on the upside that closed in the mid-90s, presumably some sort of stores van associated with that?
