Hoping someone can help on this - next weekend (9th October's) Cathedrals Express from Euston - Chester.

Is this likely to be routed via Northampton (on the slow lines) or Weedon after MK?

Asking as the pick up points are Rugby and MK, but not Northampton.....

Will almost certainly be via Norrthampton.

I'd say 99% via Northampton, majority of tours go that way due to lack of Kilsby paths, even on Sundays, and VT et al wouldn't like an ugly steam train clogging up their network
