Sadly another shambles. I see from Steam Dreams' Twitter page that the tour was cancelled at 1am this morning - I suspect most passengers found out when they got to the station for their day out.

At least this time the customers will not lose their money on a diesel hauled trip as too often happens - although I'm sure many will struggle to make an alternate trip.

So much for Steam Dreams new era of using an alternate partner to improve the service!

Dare I ask which company supplied the locomotives and crews on the relevant engineering works?

What a disapointment. I can not really understand how something like that can happen as these things are planned so long in advance.
