Intercity livery ped, I assume 454. Also a shunter, the Ped is hauling Gatex stock with the shunter hauling freight, a boy was pulled out the way of the shunter... More ped action to come!

Any idea what line it is if anyone is watching?

It was in Modern Railways a while back - I'll see if I can dig it out.

I watched 80% of it and no 31s. Then watched a preview on the TV and it was an 03:???:.

There was a 31 operating a service from London Somewhere to Somewhere else via Holby. It appeared to have MkII stock, although I'm no expert. It stopped at Station X (name unknown) to let passengers get off because it was no longer calling at Holby. A kid went on to the track at the station and was nearly knocked over by an 03 hauling somee freight IIRC.

I noticed that the "Driver" had the old SWT logo on his blazer, but it said TWT instead!

Yeah, I think they called it "Trans-West Trains" because Holby's meant to be near Bristol.

Yeah, i was going post on here now, and ask if anyone else watched Casualty last night, to see if anyone knows where it was filmed.

I got home last night with a very nice Indian take-away, and just spotted the train on Casualty, whilst flicking through the usual TV channels.

I noticed that the horn sound used in the programme, was nothing like what I would expect to come from a shunter though :-?,so i suspect it was just a sound effect..

It's definately not an 08, it's an eariler shunter. And I have to say that it was quite good last night, compared to the usual cr*ppy acting and repetative storylines. The old woman made me cry.

Anyone remember the epsiode a couple of years back when a train derailed half-in half-out of a tunnel? I think that was a two-part thing.

Yes! The train was more modern as well, IIRC. Holby Railways has stepped back in time...

Definately an 03 in it. Only bit I saw.

Cannot for the life of me figure out what line they were on. Didn't see the 31, I'd gone off to go on t'internet instead of watching an awfully boring programme.

Certainly remember the one a few years ago that Damon mentions. Been a long time since that was on!

That was a fGW HST IIRC, with Fag Packet coaches.
No it wasn't ;)

Gosh, I LOVE Casualty. It's the highlight of my week :p

The two part episode a few years back with the derailment only showed the Trans West Trains coaches, as in Damon's picture. No loco.

Notice that they kept to the same TOC though?

The two part crash was filmed at the Nene Valley railway, Peterborough, on the Yarwell side of the tunnel, as soon as i saw the railway in this episode, i wondered if it was the NVR again?
