Good evening all.

I shall be in Bath at the end of February, and am contemplating a trip to Lostwithiel/Par before the boxes close.

As there are no trains between St Austell and St Erth that week, and a revised service west of Plymouth, what are my chances of getting a Castle? My suspicion is "minimal," but does anyone have any more info?

TIA (Thanks in advance).

I am planning a similar visit that week. As far as I can see on RTT all the Plymouth St Austell services are shown as Castles. As they are all running as STP it should be a fair bet that that is accurate.

1243 to St Austell - IET (comes from Cardiff Ctrl)
1342 to St Austell - HST
1446 to St Austell - HST

1547 to St Austell - IET
1555 to Liskeard - IET
1647 to St Austell - HST
1700 to Liskeard - 158
1747 to St Austell - HST
1830 to St Austell - IET
1945 to St Austell - HST
2029 to St Austell - IET (comes from London Padd)

Thanks very much - I wasn't convinced that the timing loads were a reliable guide, but I suppose IETs have such high lease costs that it is cheaper to run HSTs?
